Peter Simpson, CA is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is also an Acceptance Agent as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service in the United States. In 1989, Peter established CompassTAX™, to which he brought significant experience in the taxation of expatriate employees and the benefit of being a repeat expatriate himself.

CompassTAX provides a wide range of tax services to Canadian employers sending their employees on global assignments, individuals leaving or working outside Canada, and non-residents returning to or earning income in Canada.

Peter established CompassGUIDES™ in response to corporations' need for higher level and strategic planning. CompassGUIDES' mission is to ensure that employers' assignments are successful from the assignee perspective, and cost effective.
